I am fairly new to all this, but is it always so blatant when people are putting in very small 'dummy' bid and sell prices to try and get the price moving in certain directions?
I call them dummy bids because there is no way they will make even enough to cover the broker fees with these small amounts. Usually selling around 200 shares, and buying the minimum. Have seen it a LOT today with AIO.
Feel free to give me the 'Welcome to share trading' speel or even educate me as to why this is done if my observations are way off.
It makes me very hesitant to buy back in.
