Probably close to you except for a couple of points

My thought was these Chinese , but I dont think they outbidded. Possibly the WPL/Chev pulled out leaving MEO to research the other parties before accepting

If it was an outbid , i would say you are absolutly right in that it involves Tassie - Ie For MEO to walk away from WPL /Chev it would have had to be something special

If so possible CUE impacts

1. If it was a secondary bidder due to lack of interest - Probably devistating to MEO SP , but little impact on CUE

2. If it is an Asian bidder that has links or beneficial interest linked to Cue's interest - could be very nice in deed

3. If it was point 2. a couple of things could happpen -

Cues gets acces to additional JV's in other regions
or
Cues interest gets bought out , freeing up capital for Caterina etc
or
New Asian partner grabs Caterina and or the Artemis interest as a package deal
