ML is not the only one. GS, CS (local not our underwriter) and MPCG have all been doing this for 18 months. You can stop it by placing a high buy order so they obviously don't like losing shares. Funny how the supply of shares from a genuine seller in the form of DKR leads to a higher price than when the seller disappears. Buyers in the interim can only pick up small offerings since most of these small trades are actually not being lost to the seller since another of their arms is the "buyer". The ASX doesn't care as all they are concerned about is trade volume in the main. They have described it as acceptable since it was all DMA!
