Reminds me , There’s an old fun manager trick where by they seed 10 or so funds from scratch each with wildly varying investment pics then a few years later, ditch the nine least performing funds, retain the winner and then spruik, “Look at me and look at what a wonderful fund manager I am”, past performance is no guarantee of future performance etc etc
