i think the elections is a very good point and not one i had considered previously.

i also agree that if anyone can get things done, its a large company like bhpp. my gut feel is that bhpp don't want the expenditure and are stalling. my worry is that the Pine gov will get annoyed and take it off them. the gov appear to really want this drilled and want to secure their energy future. elections do stop progress though so i'm hanging on to that.

i hold based on galoc and duhat alone. we are almost back to the bottom of the channel. if 8-8.2c doesn't hold we are in trouble.

also agree about force majure. why even mention those words. if it was an unlikely outcome, you just wouldn't say it. to mention specifically that this is one of the options is really not good news... suggests that its what will happen.
