A piece of good news as I imagine that aggressive exploration on BRU’s/ Mitsubishi’s part will have a positive effect on OBL’s sp though.
However:
Pity about 50% going for just $3.5M. Agree with you dHarv.
Wonder how much the legal proceedings will cost; and if they lose they will have to pay all costs.
Will probably put a hole in their announced “maiden profit.”
Perhaps as a result of this little legal stoush occurring within the next two weeks, they have (behind closed doors) agreed to forego applying for/ contesting BRU’s offer of farming in to the Derby block.
Given the interest of some of the majors and the take-up of tenements in the Canning with the added current release by DMP of some remaining prospective areas, I would hope that OBL bid for at least one of them as I still believe had they acquired more earlier they would have attracted one of the heavies they would possibly have been free carried and their sp would probably have been higher by now.
