As for the Bowdens Silver Project - for a near surface, open pittable resource the grade is fine. Plus there should be some base metals credits.
Let's see how the market will scramble for KCN when silver is US$100 - with this project and KCN's 70% control of LRC and its silver imo.
Silver Standard's technical report of the project, dated 15th. April, 2004, when silver was only a few dollars an ounce, which I have perused, is at http://www.silverstandard.com/assets/pdfs/Bowdens.pdf
From the report:
"Bowdens mineralization is a low-sulphidation epithermal silver-base metals deposit. It occurs as an approximately 200 metre thick, near-surface zone ...Silver mineralization is associated with disseminated lead and zinc sulphides..."
My comment:
Note importantly that it is "low-sulphidation"
