It is done every day of the week.
Some instos list all trades when they make a substantial notice to the ASX. In that list, you will see all the multiple buy and sells on any given day. Yes it should be illegal as it gives the illusion of the market looking a perticular way, which is infact manipulated to look so.
HFA seems to hit a new high, consoldate just below, then find a new level again. The next move will be into the 30's, and then it all starts again.
