For diamond drilling It depends on the ground conditions, if the mud is mixed correctly etc. The slow process is called diamond core triple tube. Only expect 30-40m a day using this process. I have been involved as an off-sider a few years ago doing this, so I know what I'm talking about. The core is taken at 1m samples, however I believe there is also a faster process at 2m samples per core extraction. Also 200m+ can be achieved for RC drilling, we drilled a 230m iron ore hole easily in one day, however the deeper you go over 300m the slower the process becomes for obvious reasons.
