Profit taking is not exactly an unexpected thing to happen after a 10%+ pop. The fundamentals support higher stock prices and in the end they decide where a stock is headed in the longer run, once the daily trading noise is eliminated. Dec quarter numbers were better than expected and particularly the strong outlook coupled with clear reasoning as to why production should continue to grow while costs should trend lower, make higher stock prices appear a reasonable expectation.
