I have a newbie question, I bought metastock, because I am trying to learn technical analysis, I use commsec, I worked out how to download EOD (end of day) data from commsec, and convert it in metastock so I can view all stocks on the ASX for "that day".
But one day is not really much use to me, I want to be able to view historical data, a month, 6months etc. Does anyone know of a free way I can do this? I have read I need to sign up to data streaming companies through metastock such as reauters? (excuse spelling). Is this necessary? or does anyone know of any free or cheap alternatives. I basically just want to view a stocks data in meta stock, view support and resistence lines, that kind of thing.
