looksmart in great position now

Elsewhere, a longstanding disgruntled, former shareholder, (self appointed guru on ALL stocks) has attempted to "down ramp" Looksmart and the ever growing holdings that Institutions have, in Looksmart.

His attack centres around the now 53.2% Insto holdings in Looksmart. He says:

< A range of institutions hold LOK stock - none of these institutions have sufficient holding in LOK to mount any serious bid for the company.>

My reply:

What exactly are you talking about? Meaning, a serious bid for the Co? Guess what? The Co is NOT for sale!

When Looksmart were rumoured to be the Co that Rupert Murdoch said Newscorp were contemplating buying a "controlling stake" in, the very fact that the "controlling stake" condition was mentioned, is that Looksmart are NOT for sale!

Now IF there has been a "dummy spit" as such, I'd say someone should be very careful not to let MSN come in through the "back door" ...

I mean, they (MSN) do have $40 - $50 Billion in cash ....They have been all dressed up, with nowhere to go for some time now, but with a "leg in the door" with facebook.com I'd certainly be getting 'ink to paper' before much longer, if I was, YKW.

Reason? An articles button ('concept') can work equally as well under an MSN 'combined' effort and certainly as well as a Google “show” will or, can. Will it all be remembered in time, as, "who let them get back in"?

......Because it must be understood that Looksmart can "prostitute" itself to ANY major SE it wishes to! ........... And that the facebook.com/MSN announcement may very well be the very "wake-up call" to say, that 'father time' waits for no one ........Including a 'puffed up' (self pumped?) Ross Levinsohn or, whoever it is up to, to make such decisions in NWS.

Major mistakes of judgement, can be made ....??

The world of search is ever evolving & as has been shown to date by FIM/NWS, there is no future for those who let 'the grass grow under their feet', so to speak. But "sh#t 4 brains", it may very well be a little “over your head” perhaps, to understand all that I have been writing about here & elsewhere for the last 12 months, or, longer.

Lastly 'struggling one' ...........Rather than make silly comments ( all the time) directed at me or, in any attempt to 'downramp' the Co by you and others, wouldn't your time be best spent researching the wonderful position that Looksmart (under Dave Hills) has now put itself in?
