How pathetic was that outburst? How spiteful?
Care to discuss Looksmart (LOK) or, are you only into character assasinations, these days?
Oh ....And LOOK has closed UP again today when $4.87c (the high of the day) was "smashed" with the largest parcel of the day (the 'bookend'/blocker) of 1900 shares was taken out!!
"BUY ALL YOU CAN", is my tip to you smuggler. Get some of your $64.00 averaged pps losses back, that you once held LOK for.
Here is my post again as you may have missed it? Now you have a good day, OK?
Looksmart to surprise BIG in Q4 ......
Looksmart's growth during Q4 (results early february) make for some very exciting prospects of smashing the previously guided for 26% - 28% increase in revenues, from that of the Q3 period. ....Why?
Meta Seach (& Looksmart have a growing number of involvements in this regard) is the way of the future (many feel) and will be accepted a lot more by users, as time goes by. I'm so glad that new CEO Dave Hills took us away from the standard natural (organic?) search, as Looksmart once were. No more directly competing with Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc
The Co would'nt have lasted had the model change not have taken place & the 181 Vertical Sites introduced. There are virtually thousands of different types and configurations for Search Engines (these days) and we'd never have survived, let alone be given a chance to prosper, like many feel Looksmart will.
Talk about "Meta" Search and just how far it can go ..... Please check out this "beauty" that I came across over the weekend.
http://www.crossengine.com/
Looksmart, (who already have many Meta S/E involvements) only need to approach the likes of "crossengine.com" and have them install an articles "box" on the top line. Revenues generated from 'click throughs' are then dispersed on a "shared" basis.
So, for a user's search for articles on say, "gardening", results would take you to the start page (link below) for a wealth of knowledge to be had for those with a passion for this field of interest.

IT's not rocket science to work out, really. Publisher Sites (newspapers/magazines) will mostly adopt this Meta Search methodology. After-all, THEY supply all the articles. (Yes ....."CALLING ALL PUBLISHERS"?). Now check out all those other "areas of interest" (options) for users, as listed below .....
LookSmart Home Living:
Collectibles · Crafts · Family Tree · Frugal Living · Gardening · Hobbies · Home Decor · Home Improvement · Pets
LookSmart Solutions:
Auto · Cities · Education · FindArticles™ · Food · Furl.net · Health · Home Living · Money · Music · Recreation · Sports · Style · Tech & Games · Travel
And Looksmart appear to have increased it's "users" dramatically during the Q4 period under the above concept. Site, compete.com shows Looksmart.com (alone), is UP by 766% in it's unique visitors .....To over 3M during the Q4 quarter!
Looksmart have advised that 14.5M (total users to ALL it's Sites) produced 100M paid clicks @ .10cpc during Q3. ($10M).
According to compete.com, calculations show (it has been estimated) that Looksmart could have as many as 22.5 million (or, 55% more "uniques"), than the 14.5 million the Co had, at the end of the Q3 period.
This would produce some 150M paid clicks, or, circa $15M for the quarter. Add on the $2.5M (conservative) for Licenced products ($2.1M in Q3) and revenues for the quarter will get to around the $17M mark or, more.
Looksmart has guided for a 26% - 28% increase in total revenues from the Q3 period's $12.1M total figure ......
Now work it out from there .......
Go LOOK!!!!
