Any idea of a NEWS involvement with Looksmart would do to it's shareprice value ???

Don't discount it ... LOOK already have Viacom (Bigger than NEWS) and InterActiveCorp (through ASKJ) plus one other (unannounced as yet) Major Publisher, along with many Media Co's on the books.

It's only just beginning, for a long and profitable future. MHO, of course.
