Just remember the directors have countless shares invested in Spookies, and ultimately the will do what is in their own best interest before anything and anyone else. The share price already came close to that amount without the release of a substantial announcement. I am confident It'll get back there and well past it, long before the takeover.
Eagleview is owned by Vista Equity, which is a pretty massive player in the scheme of things. Whatever they are doing is surely strategy for the best financial outcome for themselves, but I'm not worried. To the contrary I feel guaranteed financial success in these shares, and I highly doubt a 2 year time frame. I think weeks/months is more realistic.
Regarding their vagueness about the number of cameras purchased, I am inclined to think they have done a bulk order, like, heaps of them. Basing it on the likeliness that EV have had knowledge of the technology since before the partnership deal, in conjunction with EV's size. Makes sense to me.
