Following all posters on this thread so far my comments are -
    1. No B-Pay is riduculous!! I am an old fart who has had business for 40 years and always had a check book.. Well guess what I dont now and have not had one for 8 years!! There will be planty of othered "retired" investors in my position!!

    2. Almost every SSp I have encountered has resulted in a SP fall to almost the exercise price.. ESG is no exception. Seems a lot of holders once record date has passed sell ou to lock in profits at time and then decide to take up offer if SP subsequently rises. Generally SSP are underwritten so whereas I had initially felt ESG had such confidence that SPP would be taken up as they may have anticipated future annoucements would result in SP rise I now feel time has almost passed for positive annoucements so I sold out on Friday.. My view is now if a rabbit is pulled out of the hat next week I can take up offer.. If it isnt then the Sp will drop a lot further and i can buy back cheaper as I feel long term that ESG is a very good proposition.
    3. Holy's theory about BG and slippage may well be correct and without a doubt a BOT has been working overtime on esg since spp was anounced. (See my posts on Bots!!)
In summary I am out sitting on the sidelines waiting for either an earth shattering annoucement which may see me racing to the Bank for a Bank Cheque or waiting for a major further fall to buy back in!!
Sorry to the faithful but business is business!!
