Panda7, incorrect. The deal with the Eritrean Govt will depend on size of initial project, infrastructure specs and build costs, sources of funding, which contractors have to be used, tax rates, etc.
It would all start again from the beginning with the Chinese and what they proposed to do.
STB are wasting their time doing anything than selling the project to Chinese or other very hard-nosed potash developers who can work in Eritrea (excludes big western potash companies who wont touch Eritrea). Buying the project from STB, given whats been discovered since STB took it over, for say $100-$200m would be very cheap for these buyers.
