Have been looking at the charts for nws on both asx & nyse, both charts pointing to further falls. I am currently short nws and would be happy with a 27.50ish exit. Imo it hard to pinpoint the exact chart pattern on nws asx. Is it:
a) head & shoulders broken at 29.50
b) a downtrend triangle on daily/weekly suggesting a target of 26.50ish
c) a rectangle break suggesting a target of 27.60ish.
I do not see any divergence on the chart yet with the technicals and volume has been big leading into this recent fall. It definately has support at low 27ish.
I am not suggesting you sell, or that nws will drop that low, only an observation...lol..I have no idea.
Noticed an article in this morning Australian that it looks like "dow" will reconsider the nws bid as it has no other offers.
