imo, SMM had a loss of face when AVQ originally "won" the case and lease. A large Japanese resource company pushed out of a mining lease in small Pacific country, by a small Australian company. They now have the opportunity to "make their face". My point is that they may want this beyond economics and they have the cash pile. As I understand it the lease is under the control of the landowners. SMM may relinquish an existing lease and put forward a deal that cannot be ignored by the landowners.
