I bought into Bionomics several years ago at 30 cents.
My decision to buy was in part as a result of a comment from an Adelaide academic that Deborah Rathjen was that rarity, an astute scientist with a brilliant business brain.
It would be stating the obvious to say that the performance of the stock has been disappointing.
Having held for this long, I'm sticking with the shares in the belief that at least one of their drugs must be close to a licencing deal.
Whilst the Merck buy-in and this latest deal has resulted in an increase of issued shares, I don't think these new investors would have committed their funds without an expectation that better times may lay ahead.
