    Yep you can use the capital losses to offset gains later, as long as you have capital, you can play the game.
    I calculated few days ago, my wives SGH holding was sold (too late but acceptable) for around $125k at 40c, that same holding now would be worth $11k..

    That $125k now, is just over $450k in just over 1 year...


    $11k and $450k -  Amazing contrast

    Sometimes it's good to admit you were wrong, preserve capital and invest elsewhere.
