Dont know how far back this thread goes, but , as advertised, on can go to westpac.com.au/lost super, and follow prompts to discover if one has lost super sitting somewhere. I understand there is something like $20 billion lying around unclaimed in Australia.I cannot understand why ATO or Aus. Govt. cant contact at least some of the owners when Tax returns rendered and arrange return to rightful owners. I guess funds go to Govt. coffers after some time. I hope this isnt the reason enough action (IMO) is not being taken to do something about this crazy situation. Any comments?
