Is it not strange that a man who single handedly "one morning woke up" and decided to shut down Qantas 100% and who is responsible for the lowest Qantas share price in history is still allowed to be CEO of this once great company?

When did he officially become CEO and isn't that long enough for his strategy to kick in and start QF on a positive tangent? Jetstar and his Asian expansion ( that never took off) have cost QF plenty and almost it's very existance. It is high time that someone was elected into the role of new CEO with a clear vision and strategy of dumping any toxic/money losing ideas and focusing on taking QF back to its core and re-building?

Qantas was built over many years on being a people company, now where did that go? Both customers and employees have been nothing but an inconvenience for greedy management and in the face of nothing but a slash and burn culture, staff have continued swimming against a very fast and toxic tide pretty much since James Strong took the helm.

I would like to see current management and the BOD all booted out ASAP. If they are still in place at the general meeting, there should be a shareholder's revolt. Even the banks and funds that own a large portion of QF must now be asking themselves, is there a better management option around?

IMO, management no longer understands genuine positive engagement with customers and workers and this is where they have failed big time. Time for a change!
