lotus resources uses open pit mining, kazatomprom uses insitu mining where they pump acid into wells to extract the uranium, and i believe the acid supply difficulties are in there region as there is a growing urgency to divert it for fertiliser production, as i understand it , i think its a kazatomprom problem due to the size of there operation and amount of acid usage in relation to what is produced in there region
