ASX is the fox in the henhouse

and ASIC is dracula running the blood bank

i'll tell you a little story that happened to me today....

    the house (Comsec/ASX) always wins

not so the great unwashed (me) i had forgotten that just 7+ weeks ago i bought 2000 DEV shares at 29c costing $580 (July 19th) so in order to do my required 8 trades a month to get free Iress, i bought another 4000 odd today at 13c to complete my 8 trades, and immediately tried to put them up for sale at 13.5c, making a tiny profit and enabling my Iress in the process, but Houston, we have a problem....the order could not be placed, a message came up..... Your order cannot be accepted due to the following reasons: Minimum holding required. You are required to maintain a minimum $500 holding in each stock you own. In other words, those previous shares i bought for $580 are now worth less than half of that, $260 to be precise, so because they have fallen so much, they are no longer a "marketable parcel" as per ASX and comsec rules and that is why i cant sell my current lot, i have been punished for the algo's driving it down mercilessly for 7 weeks, but they can buy and sell $2 worth of shares willy nilly, just look at any days course of sales and there are dozens of them. Retail folks dont matter to them, what a dirty rotten corrupt system we have, feathering the hedge funds nests. I have bought 10 stocks in recent times, mostly $500 to $700 a time that's all i can afford these days, they are mostly worth half or three quarters of what i paid, in some cases like MAY and FRE, even less. I hope these algos crash the system and nobody can trade for a day or more, see the fallout then. so pi$$ed off, this is basically restraint of trade as i see it. RANT OVER. sentiment....SEETHING
