FBR have two working robots at present they're testing and tweaking performance at extreme temperatures above 37 degrees C. Workers here walk away at 35 degrees, not so overseas, where the real market is. At the same time they're working out deals with the major brick makers. HUGE multibillion dollar corporations that know the workforce that use their products is dwindling FAST. Brickies are ageing. The brick companies are looking to automation so they van keep selling bricks, and guess what? FBR is IT in terms of a fully automated system where you put bricks in one end and build a house without the bricks being touched by human hands at the other end. FBR is the only company providing a working solution. The only one... Now when dealing with these very large companies, progress is slow. They want to make damn sure that the solution will work. It's a matter of time. If FBR had gone to Caterpillar, it would have been 7 years before you'd see a Hadrian roll off the line. That is their product cycle. Then FBR would just get royalties, the machines sold to anyone, loss of control of IP to someone who'd make knockoffs.
the current strategy is a much better course for adding value, protecting IP and longer term sustainability. It's amazing what you can learn if you turn up to the presentations.
