To state the bleeding obvious, in case anyone here is clue-less, for a transaction to take place, a seller needs to find a buyer at the right price and vice versa.
Who has the smart money and who has the dumb money, will be proven by the process of time (it always will).
Meanwhile, a quick glance at that TLS price chart since 1999, provides an indication of who has the better odds in this gamble.
The shorts from $5 are gambling with 'house' money (always easier to gamble with 'house' money than your own).
