Over the past few months there were 3 landmarks with respect to LYC's
SP:
- the cap raise in Nov @ 75c
-the retail cap raise Dec @ 56C
-The dropping of LYC from the ASX 200 early Jan.
IMO, these 3 events have led to shorting the stock at different times
and the removal from te ASX has seen a very heavy sell-down by the instos.
It looks like we have had the 56c shake-out and once the SP hits 75C we'll
likely see another serious sell down before progressing towards $1.
Shorters are in there to make money just the same as the longs and IMO
there is no conspiracy to either prop-up the SP or hold it down; Just Mr
Market doing his thing.
Lets go with the flow rather than crib about market manipulation.
Eventually we'll get the European fix for high frequency trading and that
should put the BOT to bed for good.
Once we get over plant commissioning & up to full production, the Malaysian election behind us and the permanent operating licence issued, fundamentals should kick-in and speculation will fade away.
Cheers
