I'm seeing lots of small trades on this stock today and also...

I'm seeing lots of small trades on this stock today and also near the close recently. Of the 180 trades so far today about 60 of them have been for 50 shares or less. Most of those have been for 41 to 46 shares (ie. less than $20). Just before 2pm the price was 43.5c and then someone bought 41 shares at 46 cents. Often at the close lately someone will buy a very small amount of stock at 1 or 2 cents more than the last trade. I am assuming/guessing it is the same person or people doing this and it seems very odd. Does anyone know what this might be all about?
