If you asked me on Friday about the US shutdown, I would have thought "no way, they will do the right thing". Fairly surprised this morning to see politicians have commited economic atrocity on their own people.
US shutdown looming, debt ceiling looming, there will be no QE tapering since US economic growth is already slowing if not reversing.
All positive for gold price, negative for AUD. I think I might buy some more NCM this arvo.
