Nickel (+ Cobalt) = Loses lots of cash (proven many times);
but,
Cobalt (+ Nickel) = Is going to make you billions (it just hasn't happened yet)
The saying "once a dog, always a dog" applied to laterites (IMHO) no matter how you write the equation. Being high up the cost-curve is not the best place to be.
Barra Resources are suggesting some sort of weird alchemy where they can process laterites at room temperature and near-neutral pH, which is something I'll believe when I see it.
