And the answer to your question is obvious.

Only a fool would swap a profitable company for SMA script.
And we dont really know if it is a profitable business until we see some audited accounts.
I for one would not trust anything SMA puts out that is not audited.
And why are SMA in a trading halt. Companies dont go into a trading halt after they announce a aquisition. They are in a trading halt because the ASX are not satisfied with the lack of detail in the announcement.
