Howdy ...
Having the flu at present deciced to do a study of companies recommended a few months ago as those going to go up.
The results quite frankly are not surprising but here are the results.
Market closed near our all time high on friday at 3467.7 for the asx 200.
A rally of around 5.1% over the last few months.
So I went back and looked at the companies talked about on this thread.
Looked at the first 62 recommended here.
Want to have a stab at the results ???
Overall market was up 5.1% and one would presume since they are mentioned here they were also moving up.
NOT !!!
Of the 62 mentioned only 16 were up at the end of the period. Thats 25.8% actually made a profit. Or in other words 74.2% were loosers.
Average return from the whole 62 was a loss of 11.8%.
Comparing this to the overall market the divergence was an astounding minus 16.9 %.
It is pretty hard to get so many loosing money at any time let alone when the market has had a decent rally but to underperform the market so badly I think speaks for itself !!!
