    Many Islamic countries forbid any attempts to convert Muslims to other religions and impose severe penalties for doing so. I can only imagine the outcry among Muslims if non-Muslim countries imposed that restriction on Muslims trying to convert non-Muslims to Islam.

    I have witnessed first hand the treatment of non-Muslims in Muslim countries. They are treated as second class citizens and are often singled out for persecution.
    Please don't come with your story that there is no compulsion because a single verse in the Quran contradicts others.

    Some Muslims admit that in Islam the penalty for apostasy is the death penalty.

    Even your mate Dr Zakir Naik doesn't believe that there is no compulsion in Islam. He said that he would forsake his own son if he converted to another religion. Here is how he explains his position.
