In reference to the bolded section -> Jesus said words to the effect, after he had been raised, he in fact (his Body) was the Temple that was destroyed.
So he set the stage, example of what was to follow -> those of God are also the Temple of God. Jesus came to build a House for God (2 Sam 7:12-14). God dwelt in Jesus, the Temple. Jesus became the corner stone to which you are to build upon, bond to and the mortar is the word = the word of God.
Word or Dabar = God,...........John 1:1...........and GOD was the Word. Dabar's letter meanings (3 of) = Door into House to the Head = The Alpeh Tav, the Almighty God and Father. Jesus now appointed as the Door to which you come through for the pasture = the word of God.
And I would suggest, this House, Temple, is Not some cube, built by hands, man. Plus I would suggest, their is absolutely no need in having to face in a certain direction when coming to God and that is no more than another of mans creations.
