re: let's take stock of bayou drilling... On 21.3 ICN advised:-
"drilling ahead at 7654 feet (2,334 metres)" and "some drilling mud is being lost to the formation. A decision to run casing is under consideration before drilling out from this point."

On 22.3 ICN advised:-
"drilling ahead at 7849 feet (2393 metres)" and "was accompanied by an increase in gas readings from a background reading of 22 to 1070 parts per million and hydrocarbon fluorescence in the rock cuttings recovered."

So it looks like drilling in this section has returned to around 190 feet per day. That being the case you would think that drilling would have reached 8,000 feet today which marks the first objective (that's assuming drilling rate is maintained at present levels etc). We may yet receive another update tomorrow about this milestone (again assuming it is reached).

Here's hoping the indications are good. By ICN standards buying was heavy today, people taking notice. Pol.
