    Where Is Your Treasure Stored?

That which most occupies our thoughts, time and energy, has the greatest influence over our heart and its desires. We all too often, allow it to direct and even controls our lives.

Jesus, knowing how concerned many people would be about money, and all the things of this world it could buy them, said this:

“Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal. Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be" (Matthew 6:19-21).

    Our Role With God's Money

Because everything belongs to God anyway, what is to be our role with His money, which He allows us to have? Our role is to seek the Lord's direction on just how He would have us to invest and manage it for His glory, and not for our glory.

When we invest in the great works of God's kingdom, we are laying up treasure in heaven, where it awaits us, when Jesus returns.

While some properly managed savings, and advanced retirement accounts, and investment portfolios will hopefully be of some security to to us, and our families in the future, investing now, in the kingdom of God, is the ultimate key to our daily, and future security.

It has only been just a few short years ago, that we all saw the stock market crash, and real estate and portfolio investments all go up in smoke, never to be seen again.

While investment bankers and stock brokers, will promise us a great return on our hard earned income, playing those market games are loaded down with heavy risks, even today.

Here is a promised statement, made by Jesus, that no investment banker, stock, or real estate broker will ever be able to match, or guarantee.

"Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you”(Luke, 6:38).

When we invest in the many great works of God's kingdom, He promises to provide for our needs and beyond.

Don't Miss Out On God's Rich Blessings; Invest In His Kingdom
