the idea of entering small cap stocks early is to make sure you don’t miss the initial sharp increase in share price. this could happen after a week, or three years. you can’t believe that you entered LVT at the perfect time and be frustrated that it didn’t pop off within six months. I’ve held it for a year now and it is basically at the same levels as when i bought. But the company itself has improved significantly since then, record deals, multiple new recognisable clients and solved law suits.
yes i would love for the share price to pop off today as well, but realistically, you can’t get frustrated at a small cap stock for its lack of exposure and sp movement. i personally invest in these stocks because i like the improvement in financials and the promising growth of the company itself, not the share price.
