The US$ is like a prize fighter hanging on the ropes. One good punch and it's Good Night Dick. But who can deliver it? The pound, euro and yen are unable to lift themselves of the canvas to deliver it and if the little Aussie bleeder roared, who would notice? Months ago I dismissed the concept of "competitive devaluations" as Yank winging but our int rates are much higher than in USA. Isn't that deliberately keeping our exchange low? I can't believe low forties but the gnomes of Canberra won't let it rise much either.
