I'd be happy if it was supported at 8c personally. Better than 5c, better than the SPP price of 5.3c only a short while ago.

Interesting poit raised in any case about the short sales, I should have looked at the daily numbers (http://www.asx.com.au/data/Shortsell.txt) on those 100 to 200 mil volume days to see what the % short was on those days, which might explain the fact that despite more than 10% changing hands, no change in substantial holding notices appeared. The numbers for thursday are still there, as Ya has posted, only 2.08% of 195 million traded were sold short, not a large amount at all.

195,204,640 traded 4,076,743 short = 2.08% stock moved +10.84 on the day. Larger number would be 20 to 60%, not uncommon for some stocks.
