Freehold: I agree with your sentiment but am not convinced that "one company will end up owning own both SYR are Ton as the synergies are to great together".
At the present time, SYR is likely to be able to justify developing a significant, professionally built mine and ore processing facility before TON, just because they are ahead in proving up their resource.
SYR's shareholders are more likely to approve raising capital to build the mine, ore processing plant and transport infrastructure, and getting cash flow back to them, we'll ahead of raising capital to buy-out TON.
History has similar examples of companies sharing mineral deposits. Our best example is Broken Hill which spawned both BHP and Rio Tinto (via Zinc Corporation and CRA).
i think the Balama deposit may be on the cusp of creating two new significant resource companies, should Graphite prove to be THE industrial mineral for the 21st century.
