You have to follow the story since it evolved, but basically, the low life "mother" in question Tania Staker has 12 children of her own.

Her ex boyfriend now lives in the same house with Staker and is shacked up with Staker's brother--in the same house.

This ex boyfriend has 5 children, and they were the ones abused--by all adults in the house including their father-- because low-life Staker out of jealosy didn't want them around.
