I'd also like to add that Corus has a "Consortium" connection with the world's biggest Steel Company,Mittal [or something named like that]

Mittal along with Tata and including Corus are Indian Family Groups who "cooperate" with one another.
Unlike "Western" companies that Compete with one another.

Oh Mittal etc are subject to all our price collusion laws etc but they are Co Operative more than "go for the throat" Competitors.

Anyhow,all this Obama chat about using only US steel?
well is against a background that most if not all the Big SteelMakers in the US have been taken over by this Mittal.At least on the American East Coast which is where [I think} Steel is a major industry.

So ERGO thru this Mittal connection DYE thru Corus have an IN to the US market.

Now we "DYEhards" are pretty aware of how the US market is pretty "closed" to DYE in the past.Konarka didn't want to go with dye senistised and went more into that Film application to plastic "stuff".Is that 2nd Generation?

Anyway,that route has been blocked by Very Expensive Components,even too Rare for general applications as well as a Toxic Level that makes future disposal an "issue".
I also think that this "Film" method doesn't generate power as well as DYE and perhaps also has poor efficency in Low Light Conditions.

The "problem" with the US market is that the Sun States especially California are the one's handing out the massive Government Subsidies and are using their Sunny Status to "run" Solar Technology Development.

All the "action" is geared even in Europe to Sunny States like Spain.It is also geared towards GRID replacement by Solar Power.

This makes it "difficult" for DYE technology that brings Low Light "Action" into play "small time"/Community/even single buildings power generation.
DYE sheerly does not suit the Agenda currently in play regarding Solar Power development and we,d'DYEhards have to wait for the Great UnWashed Bureaucrats/Media etc to WAKE UP.
Hopefully a Trial Structure whacked up into the wilds of WALES solaring it's lights and general power needs in Spring will do d'Trick.
At least there'll be WALES in it and with the current poor spelling and comprehension skills around "THEY" might confuse it with the "Fish" and find it newsworthy!!!
