Fair points Wipper; but this is an exploration company not a commodity trader; the company has BOTH uranium and Coal; and BOTH commodities will always be used on balance way after we pass; that is not an issue in the global energy space....it is a fact....
your comment; however; on the new guy and underwhelming results is ill-informed; due primarily to your lack of detailed review of the company
Uranium One / ARMZ have a resource of 120m lbs U at 270ppm which a completed BFS including opex at $21/lb; which took 4 years but started with 30m lbs at 300ppm.
Uranex delivered 7m lbs at 300ppm from moose pasture within 1 year; with upside targets to reach 30m lbs at 300-500ppm in the same system.
the results are not underwhelming; they are a stepping stone to much more; and the grade is not that much of an issue; the company did release results regarding the metallurgy being low acid consumption; low re-agent use; potential to produce this material at <$30/lb even at 300ppm; why?????
metallurgy. this is not calcrete. this is not alaskite. this is not deep roll-fronts. simple surficial sandstone. previous reports (if you can read them); demonstrates that.
the resource is on only 2.5% of the total prospective area at Mkuju and UNX is only 1 year into a 4 year program.
yes the initial resource was not the 10m lbs at 400ppm we expected; but het; they next drilling program (IF CONSTRUCTED PROPERLY) could deliver that for the snapping ducks - either way; this is not a geologists deposit its a metallurgists deposits - very easy ; very low cost ; very simple
