Compare to other tech companies, we have a bit of a low rating (2.4 on Glassdoor). High performing companies often have a great culture, and this is also true during bad times.
Now why is this relevants to us? Compare to companies like IRESS (4.5 on Glassdoor) or Xero (4.2 on Glassdoor) or REA Group (3.7 on glassdoor), we fall a bit short. Those companies with a great culture, performs better, and don’t get me wrong culture is not everything but it plays a big part on financial performances.
Glassdoor rating are, in my views, one of many metrics to watch for a company. Whilst these reviews can be polarising, it give an additional perspective. I want BID to succeed, and I will always keep an objective view hence this thread.
Also, now imagine young talents wanting to join the organisation and seeing this on Glassdoor. What do you think they will do?
