in September last year 17,150 Myer shareholders - or 35 percent of its share registry - had unmarketable parcels based on a 77¢ share price, according to the company's 2017 annual report.
At that time there were 23,467 shareholders - making up 47.9 percent of the register - with parcels of fewer than 1000 shares.
Based on Monday's share price of 38¢ all 23,467 of those investors would have parcels that are now unmarketable.
Another 33 percent of the register (16,173 investors) had shareholdings that would now be worth between $380 and $1900, suggesting well over half of all Myer investors have unmarketable parcels.
