Very very late start to the wet in FNQ this year. Might be a different situation a little further south but north of cairns it has only started raining seriously over the last 10 days. Beautiful rainforest rain falling just now as i type. Could be a couple of more months yet before the wet is over. Sorry to bear bad news.
