Don't hold your breath about getting dividends from SLR.
Management of SLR have repeatedly said that they have no intention of paying dividends. They point to the fact that it is more beneficial to the growth of the company to invest in exploration than to pay dividends. Their intention is to grow SLR into a very big producer.
I agree with them too. The very reason we invest in growth companies is that we believe they can make more money for us than we can by holding cash. Telstra and the banks are for dividend seekers. Or if you want some cash, sell some shares.
