Patented - not clear whether it's patented or only application, and then you have the Facebook algorithm discovery
Faster transfer - for some users and seemingly only over some protocols
Data overhead - yes some reduction, but again YMMV
Value - unclear given they haven't released pricing
Manage network capacity - over reach methinks, at best it provides a bit more room in the pipe
It is an interesting statement though as it appears to suggest a more corporate/ network focus rather than the current consumer/individual focus.
Also strange that the security and privacy comment appears almost an afterthought
