clearly you haven't seen the action in GDXJ in the US. Yesterday we dropped comparably to the GDXJ drop last night, and funny enough rebounded almost the exact difference between yesterday's fall in SP.
No conspiracy theories here. Just buy a ridiculously low today and future P/E stock. Fear is at its extreme but the fundamentals have not been sounder in years.
